After six weeks of fly tying at Imagine Nation Brewing the fly-fishing season has officially begun and the classes have ended. The days are longer, bugs are hatching and the rivers are clearing up. Back in February IFlyFishMontana teamed up with the staff at the Kingfisher Fly Shop, Zimorino’s pizza, Imagine Nation Brewing, Latitude Forty Seven and three local conservations to provide a free tying class to everyone. Fly-fishing enthusiasts of all ages showed up to tie two different flies every Monday night and trade fish stories. Friendships were even made at the events and we raised over $200 with our raffles to give to Montanans For Healthy Rivers, Clark Fork Coalition and the Westslope chapter of Trout Unlimited. IFlyFishMontana is very grateful to all of those who came out and those who supported this free event.
Please feel free to look through this slideshow of photos taken from each night at Imagine Nation Brewing and don’t forget to show some support for all the businesses and conservations that made this event possible by clicking any of their names in this story to visit their websites.
